BLUE STAR FERRIES announces that the condition of the vessel BLUE STAR PATMOS, which according to the Company’s announcement yesterday, suffered grounding on shallow waters while entering in the port of Ios on Wednesday August 30, 2017, remains stable.
As the Company has already announced, the passengers who were on board, all in good health, were transported to the port of Ios and have all been transferred yesterday to their final destinations with Company’s care.
At this moment, the Company is reviewing and evaluating the situation, aiming to the safe refloating of the vessel the soonest possible.
The itineraries of the vessel BLUE STAR PATMOS are operated by the vessel BLUE STAR NAXOS following a modification of the Company's routes.
